Our Mission
Our mission at The National Center for Equality and Innovation (NCEI) is to provide shelter, crisis prevention, and family remediation to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and all (LGBT+) youth with marginalized sexual orientation and/or gender identities. Especially those youth who are at-risk of becoming or actively experiencing homelessness. We are committed to positive development of LGBT+ youth through action, education, intervention, providing resources, and creating safer and healthier living environments.
Our Story
The National center for Equality and Innovation Inc. (NCEI) was established as a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization in 2014. Through the guidance of our Executive Board, Advisory Council, Action Advisory Council, Youth Council, coordinators, and volunteers we provide shelter, crisis prevention, and family intervention to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and all (LGBT+) youth with marginalized sexual orientation and/or gender identities. Especially those youth who are experiencing homelessness or who may be at-risk of becoming or actively homelessness.
Our Vision
Our vision is to make certain no LGBT+ youth will ever be homeless or feel alone; that they will always have a resources for any crisis.
